TAIEX projects

TAIEX is the Technical Assistance and Information Exchange instrument managed by the Directorate-General Enlargement of the European Commission. TAIEX supports partner countries with regard to the approximation, application and enforcement of EU legislation. It is largely demand driven and facilitates the delivery of appropriate tailor-made expertise to address issues at short notice.

Study Visit on Intervention measures for agricultural products- storage schemes

Aims of the study visit:
The aim is to get detailed information from EU Member States on how the intervention of agricultural products is organised, with a special focus on storage conditions of warehouses and quality control.

Study visit on common market organisations for cereals focusing on public intervention and storage

Aims of the study visit:
To get detailed information about best EU practices on public intervention and storage of cereals based on the Common Market Organisation. The focus was on the storage conditions of warehouses and the control system.

Study visit on on-the-spot checks of support for certain Axis 4 measures

Aims of the study visit:
Improving practical knowledge of officials of the Paying Agency in Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development and to enable them to gain experiences in conducting on-the-spot controls of LEADER projects and measures under Axis 4 co-funded from the EAFRD and to get familiar with preparing procedures for on-the-spot checks. Special attention should be given to how to measure connection between Local Action Groups (LAGs) and beneficiaries of funding.

Study visit on training for ISAMM System Implementation: implementation of ISAMM in Hungary

Aims of the study visit:
1) Introduction to institutional and legal framework for ISAMM in EU MS - new and old member states best practices and experiences upon ISAMM implementation.
2) Ensure Croatian officers necessary insight and knowledge of ISAMM functions, processes and activities, in order to ensure full implementation of ISAMM system in Croatia.
3) Informing Croatian officers about ISAMM through introduction to ISAMM coordinators and administrators in EU MS institutions.
